Learning the Quran online has transformed the way Muslim families around the world connect with the Book of Allah. Whether you live in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Gulf, or Pakistan, you no longer need to drive to a local mosque or madrassa at a fixed time. With Tarteel Studio, a certified Qari comes to your screen — live, one-on-one, and at a time that fits your family's routine. The same authentic Tajweed rules that have been transmitted from teacher to student for centuries are now delivered through Zoom or Google Meet, with progress reports, lesson recordings, and written feedback shared after every class.
Choosing the right course is the first critical decision. If you or your child are completely new to Arabic letters, Noorani Qaida is the correct starting point. This foundational booklet teaches the Arabic alphabet, vowel sounds (harakat), joining of letters, and basic pronunciation rules. Most students complete Noorani Qaida in 2 to 3 months with 3 classes per week, after which they are ready to read the Quran directly. Students who already read the Quran but want to refine their recitation should choose the Tajweed course, where they learn rules such as Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, Madd, Ghunnah, Izhaar, Idghaam, Ikhfaa, and the proper points of articulation (Makharij) of each letter.
For memorization (Hifz), Tarteel Studio follows a structured plan that balances new lesson (sabaq), recent revision (sabaq para), and full revision (manzil). Without this three-part daily cycle, students forget previously memorized portions within months. Our Qaris set clear weekly targets — typically 1 to 3 lines per day for a beginner and a half-page or full page for an advanced student — and conduct a weekly assessment to ensure quality retention. Parents receive a digital progress tracker so they always know exactly how much their child has memorised and revised.
For sisters and parents of young daughters, the availability of certified female Qarias is essential. Tarteel Studio maintains a dedicated team of female teachers who themselves hold Ijazah and are trained to teach with patience, warmth, and age-appropriate methods. Children as young as four are introduced to the Quran through play-based learning — letter recognition games, nasheeds, and short lessons of 15-20 minutes — before gradually moving into a structured Noorani Qaida routine at age 5 or 6.
Finally, consistency beats intensity. Twenty minutes of focused daily practice, supported by a weekly live class, produces far better long-term results than two hours once a week. That is why we send parents a digital revision schedule, share lesson recordings for catch-up, and celebrate every completed Juz, every Surah memorised, and every Tajweed rule mastered with an achievement certificate. The journey of learning the Quran is a lifetime journey — and Tarteel Studio is honoured to walk the first steps with you and your family.
